But that just isn't true
Because everyday that passes by
The more we’re missing you

I know that isn’t so
It’s been a good few years now
But still the tears flow
Those who say that times a healer
May have lost someone they knew
But what I know for certain is,
They can’t have lost someone like you

I can remember you maureen, in many ways, poppin over to the shop, just at the end of the street, and my dear sister, whom passed away, 1996 , she thought the world of you, and i know you did of her, so did my mam, carol as you know would love to wind you up, i remember her wanting to go up the ashvale club on a saturday night, and going over to yours and asking you did you want a lift up, you would say yes, and me and my husband would give you a lift up, well sometime anyway, aliot of the time carol, would go with us a bit earlier , and laugh her head off in the car , saying to us ,that you to were waiting to have a lift, sometimes we,d catch a glimpse of you coming down the steps for you lift with us, dear carol would laugh so much, she,d be coughing, i,d tell her the next week,, maureen can have luift this week, she would still try though, and she would love her visits to you, she,d say come on maureens with me, and now and again i,d go with her, i remember the little dog you had, and that lovely smile you showed , to many , may god bless you, love xxx

the LORD came down and touched your face,

The Gates of Heaven opened wide,
the Angels lined up side by side,
a special guest was on his way,
the day they came and took you away.

Look for me in springtime
As raindrops fill the air
In the splendour of the rainbow

I have not turned my back on you,

Although your life on earth has passed, here life starts anew”

And since each days the same up here,
There’s no longing for the past”
My loved ones, please don’t grieve for me,
Coz I am truly free,
And I will wait for you to come and share my life with me.
